Dr. Debra Carter and Dr. Connie Capdevila, founding members of the International and Ibero-American Association of Parental Coordination Specialists (AIIECP), presented a workshop at the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) Annual Conference in Boston. Their session, titled “Parenting Coordination as an Ameliorative Measure in Cross-Border Conflicts”, highlighted global initiatives to protect children in international family disputes.
A key focus was AIIECP’s Global Network of Parenting Coordinators—a multinational roster of professionals available to assist courts and families in safeguarding minors caught in cross-border conflicts. The presentation underscored the urgent need for coordinated, cross-cultural solutions in these complex cases.
