a) Definition of “Thematic Committee”
A Thematic Committee is a space for reflection, research, and in-depth exploration of topics directly related to Parenting Coordination.

b) Objectives of the Thematic Committee
The objectives of a Thematic Committee are to deepen knowledge theoretically and practically through a project; disseminate the project’s results; and enhance information sharing and participation among AIIECP members.

c) Representation
Under no circumstances will the committees represent the Association. All materials produced require the approval of the Board of Directors.

d) How the Thematic Committee Will Work
Work will be organized by projects.

e) Meetings of Committee Members
A minimum of four meetings per year.

f) Obligations of the Thematic Committee
Each committee, in coordination with the Board of Directors, will:

  • Establish tasks

  • Draft minutes

  • Set meeting schedules

  • Designate a contact person for members

  • Prepare an annual report of the committee’s work, to be submitted by January 20 of the following year to the Vice Presidency

g) Requirements for Proposing a New Thematic Committee

  1. Justification
  2. General and Specific Objectives
  3. Specific Activities to Be Carried Out
  4. Evaluation Criteria
  5. Names of Initial Members and Coordinator, along with their emails, phone numbers, and countries. New members may be added to the committee, except in special cases. A minimum of three countries must be represented.
