On May 25, the AIIECP Board of Directors approved the creation of a Thematic Committee dedicated to “Parenting Coordination in Cross-Border Family Conflicts.” This initiative responds to the need to address the challenges faced by families whose conflicts extend across national borders. The complexity of these situations requires specialized intervention to ensure the protection of the best interests of the child and the promotion of healthy family environments in transnational contexts. Parenting coordination can be a solution that meets the needs of courts issuing decisions regarding the return of children and adolescents.
