a) Definition of “Thematic Committee”

Definition of “Thematic Committee”: Space for reflection, research, deepening into topics directly related to Parenting Coordination.

b) Objectives of the Thematic Committee

Objectives of the Committee: To deepen theoretically and practically through a project; disseminate the project’s results, enhance information, and members’ participation.

c) Under no circumstances will the committees represent the Association, requiring the approval of the Board of Directors for the material produced.

d) How the committee will work: By projects

e) Commission members’ meetings: a minimum of four meetings per year.

f) Obligations of the Commission.

Each Commission, in coordination with the Board of Directors:

  • Will establish tasks.
  • Will draft minutes.
  • Will set meeting schedules.
  • Will designate a contact person for members.
  • An annual project report will be prepared by January 20 of the following year.

g) Proposal Requirements for a New Thematic Committee

1. Justification.

2. General and specific objectives.

3. Specific activities to be carried out.

4. Evaluation criteria.

5. Name of members and coordinator, along with the members’ emails, telephone numbers and countries. New members may be added to the committee, except in special cases. A minimum of three countries must be represented.
