On May 25th, the AIIECP Board of Directors approved the creation of a Thematic Committee dedicated to cross-border family conflicts. This initiative addresses the need to tackle challenges faced by families whose conflicts transcend national borders. The complexity of these situations requires specialized intervention to ensure the protection of the child’s best interest and the promotion of healthy family environments in transnational contexts. Parenting coordination can be a solution that addresses the needs of courts issuing rulings on the return of children or adolescents.
